2nd Solo Art Exhibition (9th Dec 2007 - 8th Jan 2008) :
A Bowl Full of Memories
I would like to share with you many of my childhood memories of a place commonly known to all of us; 'Chinatown'. My trips to 'chinatown' as a young child never seemed to be bore as I love visiting those strange quaint Chinese shops brimming with stuff to arouse my curiosity and imagination.
Moments like 'dim sum' treat together with my family on a leisure weekend, brief moments sitting together with my dad at the 'kopitiam' with beautiful birdcages, quick stops at those quiant old Chinese shops where mum would be busy bargaining for goods, hungry stomach pacify by those delicious food like assorted colorful cupcakes or a hot bowl of wantan soup noodle. Each of these moments leaves a layer of memory like a deposit of sediment people that I loved and moments of contentment I have cherished that when recalled, revealed glimmers of where I came from.
